Ancom Berhad (“Ancom”) was incorporated in Malaysia on 3 March 1969 as Ansul (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to pioneer the manufacturing of agricultural chemicals and herbicides in Malaysia. After several changes in management and shareholders, Ancom assumed its present name on 9 September 1989 and was listed on the then Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 29 March 1990.

Ancom, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nylex Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (“NHSB”), completed the acquisition of the entire business and undertaking including all the assets and liabilities of Nylex (Malaysia) Berhad (“Nylex”), a subsidiary, on 26 January 2022. Consequently, the subsidiaries of Nylex became the direct subsidiaries of NHSB.

Ancom changed its name to Ancom Nylex Berhad (“ANB”) on 5 April 2022.

In 2025, ANB completed the acquisitions of 70% equity interests in Colorex Sdn Bhd, a company involved in blending and trading of chemicals, colours and related products, and Flexis Solutions Sdn Bhd, a company involving in trading of chemical products respectively. ANB also completed the acquisition of 60% equity interest in H2H Medicare Group Sdn Bhd, which is involved in distributing of medical equipment and supplies.

Today, ANB is a diversified group involving in the following business activities:

• Agricultural and industrial chemicals - manufacturing and sale of agricultural and industrial chemicals;
• Public health & hygiene - provision of pest control, washroom & hygiene, fumigation and space & surface sanitizing services;
• Animal health - manufacturing and trading of animal health products, which include antibiotics, feed additives, supplements and disinfectants;
• Polymer - manufacturing and marketing of polymer products;
• Logistics - provision of transportation, container haulage, bulk cargo handling, chemicals warehousing and related services;
• Information technology - provision of information technology services and sales of computer hardware and software;
• Media - provision of digital and out-of-home advertising media space; and
• Health care – manufacturing and distributing of pharmaceutical products and medical equipment and supplies.

ANB is the holding company of Ancom Logistics Berhad, which is listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
